The artwork conveys a very vibrant and playful element of nature, while subtly incorporating the fragility that one must appreciate as part of the whole. The dry-looking pieces of wood surrounded by the bright pink water are reminiscent of bones. Among the dry remains of once living trees, appears the reflection of the opulent forestry that surrounds all the elements captured in the artwork.

The pink color occurs due to the natural interaction of a harmless, single cell green alga, Dunaliella salina with another harmless halobacterium, Halobacteria cutirubrum mostly during summer in response to the high salt level concentration, temperatures and light.
