Most of the time Mt. Cook is clouded over, but on a sunny day, the  fascination of mountains, the majestic view of the snow-capped alpines gives excitement, more than be in the shadows of these snow-capped peaks.  Mt. Cook   frosted over white and gives the look of the fabulous, unbelievable and amazing face of the Mount Cook and glaciers peeking over the horizon. At the bottom of the Mount Cook the Tasman Lake.

Tasman Lake is a milky brown colour, conveying that it is filled with lots of pearls from glacial melt. Turquoise blue water is found in pools where more glacial particles have settled to the bottom. Showing the great scene. Looking at the whole scenery makes you feel delighted…

Technical Information – This photograph has been created after stitching 3 photos, I couldn’t get single exposure covering all. I have also used 10 stop Lee filter. f14, ISO 250, 25sec, 16mm, Canon 5D MK III  with 16-35 f4 lens.
